What is the Application Gateway?
Ever wanted to see a team sharepoint on your iPad while at a coffee shop? Or download an Excel file without the need for complex VPNs? Then we have what you are looking for. The Windows Azure Application Gateway is a simple service that enables easy access to your data in a secure and effortless way. It is composed of a 'Connector' that anyone can install, a secure router service in the cloud, and several clients for whatever platform you need (iOS, Android and all modern browsers). Get Started in 5 Minutes
Follow this quick setup guide to get started with no cost, obligation or complexity!
Step 1 - Get an Account
We currently support logins for Windows Azure Active Directory (WAAD) and Office 365 (O365). If you already have one of the two, you're ready to go; otherwise click the links below to sign up.
Step 2 - Download a Connector
The Application Gateway has an application you install to your work or home PC that enables the access to your assets (Connector). Simply install the appropriate connector for your platform and configure it with the account you obtained in step 1.
Step 3 - Choose your Client
Now that your network is accessible, choose a client that best suits your needs. Have an iPad or Android tablet? No problem! Your device isn't supported yet? Try out our web client that works with all modern browsers.
